Ashley Treadwell is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), blogger on the topic of breast/chestfeeding, and advocate for judgment-free feeding support for all parents.  Ashley completed her lactation consultant training and certification at University of California, San Diego, including clinical training at the Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns and the outpatient clinic at Kaiser Family Health Services. She also holds a Bachelors in Sociology from University of California, Davis.  Ashley’s family moved to the beautiful city of Portland during the summer of 2016, where she continues her work helping families meet their feeding goals.  Prior to moving to Oregon, Ashley lived in Southern California where she worked as a lactation specialist for the San Diego Breastfeeding Center. She loves needlepoint, exercising, reading, everything related to cooking and feeding her family, spending time with family and friends, and bad reality television.
Ashley is skilled in assessing your baby for tethered oral tissue ("tongue and lip tie"), helping babies transition from bottle to breast, pre-mature infants, low milk supply, painful breastfeeding, and anxiety and insecurity surrounding breastfeeding challenges.  Cascadia Lactation practices inclusivity and is experienced in working with LGTBQIA families.

Breanna Grisham is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She has over 14 years of experience in perinatal health working with diverse families. After experiencing numerous hurdles while feeding her first child, Breanna developed a passion for supporting families with feeding struggles. Breanna is a firm believer that knowledge is meant to be shared and her goal is to present you with evidence based options to feed and care for your baby. She truly believes parents know their child better than anyone and she will attentively listen to your concerns. Whatever your feeding goals are, Breanna is here to support you with care and compassion. Breanna completed her lactation education and certificate at OHSU-PSU School of Public Health and received her clinical training at Washington County WIC and Legacy Health. She also holds a Bachelors of Science in Diagnostic Ultrasound from Seattle University.
Breanna is a native Oregonian who enjoys traveling and has spent a significant amount of time in the Midwest and East Coast. When she isn’t supporting new families with their feeding goals, she spends her time baking, reading, walking her dog, and chasing her children around the house.

Rose Kiken is an International Board Certified Lactation consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse (RN). She is drawn to supporting people during major life transitions, and has worked as a nurse in a variety of hospital and clinic settings. She became interested in lactation while helping her sister navigate the challenges of nursing and caring for a new baby. She completed a Certificate in Human Lactation at Portland State University in 2025. Rose loves supporting families as they welcome new members, and feels honored to witness and care for them during this tender and transformative time.
Originally from Chicago, Rose moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2015 for the amazing hiking. She loves tending her gardening, jumping into alpine lakes, and sharing meals with friends and family.
