First, Let's PlanPrenatal Consultation
Time: 60 minutes
These visits are a time to cover any concerns you may have about feeding your baby. Reasons for a prenatal visit vary and can include a history of difficulties breastfeeding/chestfeeding previous children, maternal history of PCOS, maternal history of infertility, and inducing lactation. The visit concludes with a personalized plan to help feeding get off to a successful start. |
Now Let's ActPostpartum Consultation
Time: 90 minutes
This visit is geared towards families having feeding challenges and include, but are not limited to, a full assessment of baby, including oral exam and suck assessment, a full evaluation of your milk supply, along with a feeding assessment including assistance with latching and a weighted feed with a hospital grade scale. Each breastfeeding support visit will conclude with a personalized plan to help you reach your feeding goals. The visit includes follow-up via phone or email within 48 hours of the visit. |
And Then...Back to Work Consultation
Time: 60 minutes
This visit will help address all your concerns about returning to work, including, but not limited to, pumping schedules, how much milk to leave for your baby, how to talk to your employer about your rights, how to talk to your caregivers about feeding your baby, how to maintain supply after you’ve returned to work – along with any other questions you may have. This visit includes a personalized plan created for you. |
We are currently an in-network provider for Aetna and BCBS/Regence/Anthem insurance – this means we will bill your insurance company directly, and you are only responsible for your copay (if there is one). If you have a PPO plan with another insurance company, we can see you in the office with little to no co-pay. Per the Affordable Care Act, your insurance company must cover lactation visits – please see here for more information:
